MY NEEDS:

There are two things I need in my life right now. Only two. With these two things I will get through these difficult circumstances with at least a measure of victory.

Need #1: The ability to meet this situation head-on with some wisdom, some strength, some composure. I feel so completely inadequate, so frustrated, so hemmed in on every side. I simply cannot do it!

Need #2: Some relief from the pressure that is being exerted against me as I struggle with this issue. I am almost a basket case. I react to every little irritation that comes my way. I just really don’t know how much longer I can take this stress!

Just those two things, Lord, just those two.

May you know more and more of grace and peace as your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord grows deeper.

Oh, Lord, I see! They’re mine for the taking! These two things that I’m begging for, which I need so desperately in my life, are available to me as I spend time with You, getting to know You more deeply and more intimately. You, my Lord, are my answer.
